David Bedenbaugh, Conductor

David was born and raised in DeLand, FL. He earned his B.M. in Piano Performance at Stetson University. While attending  college and continuing after, he became the Director of Contemporary Service & Young Adult Ministries at First Presbyterian church, DeLand. In 2002 David moved to Nashville, TN, where he led music for local churches while he completed a M.M. in Composition at Belmont University. Upon graduation, he accompanied for Belmont voice studios and taught piano, theory, and improvisation at several colleges. David's many talents as a conductor are enhanced by his success at musical composition, releasing a number of recordings for symphonic music, piano, voice, and more. He also performs in voice, guitar, and piano, and is currently the Director of Contemporary Music at First United Methodist Church in Ocala.  David was also the accompanist for the Chorale in 2017 and 2018.
